About Mountain View CA
Mountain View CA is a city in Santa Clara County, California. The city's population was about 80,000 at the 2010 United States Census.
It is named for its views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and San Francisco Bay. In 2008, it was ranked as having the 13th highest median income in the country at $83,352 (the second highest in California) and being sixth in this category on a per-capita basis. The area comprising today's Mountain View was once inhabited by the Ohlone people. In 1769 they were forced out by Spanish missionaries working under Father Junipero Serra, who established Mission Santa Clara de Asís (present day San Jose) in their place. Mestizo settlers replaced them and over time intermarried with them as well as with local native peoples to create a hybrid group known as the "Cabezas de San Diego" or "cabeza" being Spanish for head or chief, due to their leadership role over mission affairs; these people have sometimes been referred to as "The Mountain Men".
Mountain View is home to many high technology companies. It is also home to many scientific and military projects, in part because of its proximity to Silicon Valley. The city is also home to several museums which are tourist attractions including the Tech Museum of Innovation, Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (manufacturers of several generations of spacecraft including those that have visited every planet from Mercury onwards), Computer History Museum (which includes a working reconstruction of Douglas Engelbart's original NLS system), Intel Museum (which includes an exhibition about Moore's law), NASA Ames Research Center (which encompasses Moffett Federal Airfield), Shoreline Amphitheatre (a popular concert venue) and Googleplex (Google's campus).

It was awesome experience! Both for the kids, and us. I signed up my niece and nephew, it was a present for them. We discussed everything with my brother - their father, and it was a win-win situation for everyone. The kids spend really great time learning new skills and how to build whatever they imagined. Huge start in the interest of career in engineering! Especially for my niece, she was nervous, but now we are happy that she had such an experience to express herself in building and creating things she wants.
The experience kids gain during these classes is more than important! They are really preparing for the adult life and will know how to operate the money they have, how to spend it wisely and how to save. Even we as seniors learnt from our kid some useful info, when he told us about how the classes were going! Amazing experience! I can tell for sure that kids will be more confident and calm with this knowledge.
I must really agree that the concept of this camp is wonderful! And they have an amazing teaching staff, that loves their job. And it is clear. Al least because the kids couldn't hide their enthusiasm about these classes and what they learnt. Look forward to repeat this experience when kids will be slightly more grown up. I think this will be the whole another level of preparing for the future life.

"I was hoping my 4 year old son would enjoy a week long LEGO® camp, but I did not expect him to be ecstatic about going to camp every day. The instructors were caring and thoughtful. I am a working mom, and the extended session was perfect! I plan to enroll him in more classes and would recommend this camp to all parents with high expectations for summer camps!!!"

"My son absolutely loved going to Zoom and Star Wars LEGO® summer camps for 6-8 year olds. He said his favorite was building R2D2. Since it was a nice small group, it was a comfortable and low-key place for him to build and meet new friends. He really liked Maggie - the instructor."

"Our 5 year old son had a very good time building simple machines at this camp. He learned about teamwork, he and his partner would work together to build things. He also had a very good camp teacher Miss. Chelsey who was very patient with kids and would steer them towards completing the LEGO® project for the day."

"My first and second-grade daughter and son are of completely different temperaments, but both loved the spring break camp.
The variety of activities, from motors to robotics to stop action films has had them excited about returning to camp each day. They also love the instructors."

"My son had lots of fun and every day he was happy to go to the camp and looked forward to his new daily LEGO® project. At the end of the day, he told me about the projects, how much fun he had, building a dancing bird and he made modifications to make it spin faster. He told me a different story every day. He also made friends in the camp, The staff is very friendly and organized."

"My 8 year old son enrolled in the Star Wars LEGO® summer camp. They had a mix of motorized project buildings, free play buildings & other activities (including pool noodle light saber battles). If your child is highly interested in LEGO®s & Star Wars, I'd recommend this camp. My son really liked it."
